What we can learn from the Fight for $15

The Economic Policy Institute invites you to an important forum outlining innovative strategies that are employed in the fight for economic justice. On June 30, SEIU 775 Founder and President, David Rolf, leader of the successful living and minimum wage campaigns in SeaTac and Seattle, Washington will present his new book, The Fight for Fifteen: The Right Wage for a Working America. A panel featuring Elianne Farhat from the Center for Popular Democracy, Janice Fine from Rutgers University, Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner of MomsRising and a worker and organizer from the Fight for $15 will discuss the future of the economic justice movement, including needed new norms in work hours and scheduling, labor standards enforcement, paid leave and successful wage campaigns.
